This presentation explains the Finnish 5-step strategy to ensure undisrupted critical communications services, financial flexibility and addressing the user’s requirements on the road to critical LTE. The socioeconomic benefit considerations for different deployment models and the critical prerequisites for adaptation are highlighted. Also, an update of the current status of the strategy realisation as well as critical LTE standardisation is given.
