NZ Police have led the world with mobile innovation with its partners. 10,000 phones and 4000 tablets enable police officers to be more ‘street than station’ and to maximise the prevention of crime and crash in our communities. The last three years have provided numerous lessons that are now being implemented into the future plans of NZ Police. Challenges and opportunities for the sector remain and Jevon will speak about how NZ Police is navigating these issues, particularly in relation to the consumption of public broad band capability.
