Around the world there is an ever increasing amount of ‘information’ flooding public safety, law enforcement and security organisations.  However, our greatest challenge continues to be making sure that the right information gets to the right people at the right time.

This session will provide delegates with a high level, non-technical analysis of public safety interoperability and information management issues including:

  • Interoperability & information management strategic planning;
  • Trends in interoperability technology (voice & data);
  • Next Generation (NG) 9-1-1;
  • Situational awareness, common/user defined operating pictures:
    • Precision information environments;
    • Location based services; and,
    • 3D In-door tracking and location
  • Social media;
  • Unmanned Ariel Systems (sUAS aka: UAS, UAV); and,
  • Leadership, culture, challenges and opportunities.

Delegates will learn:

  • Best practices in public safety information management and interoperability;

  • Updates on national level strategic planning from around the world; and,
  • Leadership, culture, challenges and opportunities.
